Making Sense of Nonsense: Gaining Insight By Writing Your Experience

Making Sense of Nonsense: Gaining Insight By Writing Your Experience
New Workshops (virtual) start May 13th-July 1.
8 weeks on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:30 MST
Join KnewMeJournaling virtually as we begin another series of 8 workshops.  These workshops are for participants ages 18 and up who ready and willing to start making sense of nonsense!  Recent experience with social distancing and COVID has brought a lot of anxiety and contradictory information, as well as loneliness.  This course will help participants gain insight into thoughts and feelings, not only surrounding recent events, but also many other life adventures.   Great for people who have felt anxiety during Social Distancing, for those who didn't feel great about writing in school, and for those that love to write!  A thoughtful gift for Mother's Day (upon registration a gift coupon will be sent to the person of your choice), Wonderful for addicts, highly sensitive people and friends who love them.  And of course, insightful for people who are wanting to try something new.

Q and A:
What if you don't like writing, but want to give journaling a try?
This class is for you!  A variety of journal entry points will be given and demonstrated in a way that accommodates almost all learning and writing styles.  The "therapeutic" aspects of writing come from your own indirect insight that becomes clear to you as you follow the writing prompts.

What if I don't know how to go online virtually?
A Zoom link will be sent to your email and joining is easier than you think!  You will participate from the privacy of your own home, but feel like you are in a community.

What if I want to try the first four classes, before I decide to continue with the last four classes?
Perfect!  You have the option of paying for four classes through VENMO (see payment link) and then making the decision after that.

What materials do I need?
An IPAD, phone or computer.  Internet.  A journal that you have chosen and a smooth pen.

How do I sign up?
You will be emailed any poems, handouts, etc. that you need, prior to class.
